• Plans outlay of warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight and related factors of items stored.
• Maintains all inventory in a secure and orderly manner with appropriate controls as outlined in the company’s inventory control guidelines.
• Transports inventory materials and/or customer premise equipment (CPE), via company delivery vehicle, to other warehouse or office locations as instructed by Warehouse management personnel.
• Distributes supplies and equipment, upon authorized request, and returns them to proper location after use.
• Performs shipping and receiving functions, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 70 pounds.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance with established company procedures, to determine adequacy of inventory levels.
• Investigates history, if necessary, to determine reason for discrepancies, if any, between inventory records and actual physical inventory and recommends action to resolve such discrepancies.
• Schedules work for special and periodic projects or inventories.
• Maintains inventory reports and reports for CPE (i.e., Converters, Modems, etc.) control purposes.
• Lifts and carries loads of up to 70lbs.
• Other functions that may be assigned.

Performs primary process or final assembly of manufactured parts as a team member in the production of exterior automotive lighting products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Loads and unloads materials or parts from production machinery as part of the molding or coating process, or assembles processed parts into finished lighting products

2. Performs quality review prior to, during, and after the process, separating out bad parts

3. Keeps work area clean, swept and free of dust, and maintains good 6S' within the department

4. Ensures that the scrap basket is emptied in regular intervals

5. Assists department personnel in clean-up operations and machine changes

6. Locates and brings processed parts to work station for loading when the material handler or technician is unavailable to do so

7. Ensures that all policies, practices, procedures, and safety rules are adhered to in the department

8. Works on sub-assembly and rebuilds, as needed

9. Performs other duties as assigned
