We are looking to build a 3-4 bedroom home with a full unfinished basement and 2-3 car attached garage. We like Ranch homes but will consider the right two story home. Exterior features that we like are craftsman style. Depending on the home plan, we would utilize the basement space for our home gym and future entertaining space. We like an open floor plan, split bedroom with the master on the garage side. We also prefer the laundry to be in close proximity to the master bedroom. Other items that I would consider wish list items include some type of office space (doesn't need to be a dedicated office), a pantry (walk in preferably), a soaker tub in the master bath (standalone preferrable) and a dedicated entry/foyer. I just don't like the idea of a front door opening straight into a living area. We would like a plan that keeps in mind a future inground pool.
