My name is Jocelyn, I am a nurse manager for a local long term care facility. I am reaching out on behalf of Haven of Arcola. We work closely with Sarah bush Lincoln hospital, carle foundation hospital and many other hospitals and people of the community to find placement for residents needing therapy for short term stays, as well as placement for residents needing a higher level of 24/7 care. We have 13 nurses on staff and 26 cnas who care for these residents daily. Nurses week is coming up May 5th-9th and CNA week is June 9th-13th. They provide dignity, security, passion, and are great advocates for their patients. We are looking for donations to help purchase gift cards, cater a meal, or any type of appreciation gift to show our staff member how appreciated they are by both our management team and the businesses and members of our local community. Your donation would make a huge difference to our staff who go above and beyond to give exceptional care to the elderly in our community at the end of their lives.
