We are looking to build a large 2 story home with an unfinished basement in the Carbondale Illinois region. Do you build in that area? The home will be approximately 4500-4700 sq ft living space with a 3 car garage. I have some drafted floor plans and pictures to go with for what we are looking for. The build site will need mild leveling and some tree clearing; it will be built on a 5-acre property off Red Cedar Lane, Murphysboro, IL. We hope to start building this summer/fall, but may push it into 2026. In the early planning stages now and reaching out to builders to start getting actual bids and such.
