Did you know that dark wood interiors are tied to masculinity, wealth and intellect?
YES! Wood was originally used in design back in medieval Europe. Wood was more structural then, but the staining helped protect wood rom smoke, moisture and pests. Then England refined woodworking & it became more of a symbol of wealth and intellect.
Pretty neat history in architecture and design!
